Interpretation Toward Books A Wanted Woman
The twenty-first novel from New York Times bestselling author Eric Jerome Dickey, a steamy thriller set in tropical BarbadosShe is a woman of a thousand faces, an assassin who could be anyone, anywhere.
The Trinidad contract was supposed to be simple: to make a living man become a dead man. When the job goes bad under the watchful eye of a bank security camera, there is nowhere for agent MX-401, known as Reaper, to hide from the fearsome local warlords, the Laventille Killers.
Her employers, the Barbarians, send her to Barbados, the next island over, barely two hundred miles away, with the LK’s in hot pursuit of the woman who took many of their own. With the scant protection of a dank safe house, no passport, and no access to funds, an island paradise becomes her prison.
While she trawls for low-profile assignments to keep her skills sharp and a few dollars in her pocket, Reaper discovers that family ties run deep, on both sides of the fight. Will the woman everyone wants, who has lived countless lives in the service of others, finally discover who she really is?
In A Wanted Woman, New York Times bestselling author Eric Jerome Dickey delivers an adrenaline-pumping rush of a read.

It left me wanting to read more, I'm hoping for a 2nd book soon. This book is action packed. As I began reading, I noticed how face paced the story line moved. It kept me interested from the very first chapter. Eric Jerome Dickey is known for his romance novels, but this has a completely different twist. I really enjoyed reading, "A Wanted Woman" and I look forward to reading more books by Eric Jerome Dickey!
This book is available in the C Library and reading it. I loved EJD books in the past, and some I did not complete...but giving this one a shot. Leisure read 2018

"When I slap a man, him gone stay slapped. When I kill a man, him gone stay dead." EJD wrote the hell out of this book. Murder. More grotesque mayhem than I could stand, but I couldn't turn it off. I couldn't stop listening. And the narrator, Zoe Bell was freakin' amazing as Reaper, MX-401.
This is my first read by this author and his twenty first book that I would not have picked up if it was not a book club selection for the month of May. And to tell you the truth I was not looking forward to reading it. So I got the audiobook so I could blow through it a bit faster. Goldie aka MX-401 the protagonist, is a female assassin who has the ability to transform herself, blend in and take out her target without anyone noticing at all. When she is sent on a mission to kill a top
FIRST IMPRESSION:: Had this book not been required reading for my book club, I never would have picked this up. I approached with extreme prejudice, thinking this was going to be a romance novel with a dash of mystery and a pinch of action and suspense. I was wrong dead wrong -- on an epic proportion. This was probably the bloodiest, goriest and the most crude books I have ever encountered. Definitely the most racist and misogynistic. So much so, that it was hard to enjoy.THE STORY:: Overall,
This would make one heck of a kick ass action move. There was a plethora of suspense, violence, gore, and the blood flowed freely. I'm a bit shocked by the lack of romance. It would appear that my favorite romance author has turned thriller action suspense. The lead character was definitely not someone I would like to meet in real life. Goldie Locks Reaper was downright scary. She was unexpected and surprising. Her execution of violence was thorough to the point of excessive. I'm not sure where
