Narration Toward Books Roommates with Benefits

Soren Decker. He’s the epitome of the “bad boy, good man” persona. The best of both worlds. The worst of them too. He’s the type of guy most girls wouldn’t mind sharing a confined space with, except my new roommate isn’t all swagger and chiseled abs.

He’s bossy. Messy. Cocky. Infuriating. Doesn’t believe in personal space. Has no qualms about roaming the apartment with a loincloth-sized towel cinched around his waist. Seems under the delusion he’s my personal protector (refer back to infuriating). He plays college baseball and holds down a part-time job—I don’t know where he finds the time to get on my nerves.

We have nothing in common . . . except our attraction to one another. And in six hundred square feet of shared space, the tension only has so much room to grow before one of us gives in to temptation. But really, what chance do a couple of young kids chasing their dreams in the big city have of making it?

Since Soren claims I know squat about sports (he might have a semi-point), here’s a stat for him—one in a million. That’s our odds.

Crit Out Of Books Roommates with Benefits
So very annoying for me!I must unfortunately say that I disliked this book to a great extent. There is only one good thing in it, which is the too good to be true hero: SOREN.... And nothing else (oh, and the gorgeous cover!)The retarded heroine Hayden, who cannot appreciate the awesome guy in front of her acts so annoyingly that I wanted to meet her in person to say how inappreciative a b*tch she is.The plot line is simple and sometimes too slow and boring. It is told by 1st person point of

#teamsoren but where is my freaking epilogue!?3.5 stars- would have been 5 if it ended better! This book....there was so much I loved and a few things that made grumpy. On the top of the list of things I love would be Soren - the amazing hero. He was sweet, hot and so dang funny. I found myself lol-ing on more than one occasion from things that came out of his mouth. Stubborn, sometimes immature (he's 20 so I cut him some slack), protective and he loved his family. His actions toward Hayden was

***AVAILABLE NOW - FULL REVIEW***4 The Best Roommate CROWNSThis was an unexpected read for me. Based on the synopsis and the title, I expected a much steamier read. I, however, was surprised by this sweet, slow burning romance between two young adults chasing their dreams in the big city, and, while this wasnt what I expected going into the book, I still enjoyed the journey.Part of the innocence of this story stems from the innocence of the characters. Both Seron and Hyden are starry-eyed in the

Roommates with Benefits was a GOOD read. I enjoyed the hero, Soren, so much. He was just a GOOD guy, and he was a fun guy. I also enjoyed the heroine, Hayden. Both characters had dreams and goals, and that was part of their focus not just their relationship. Even though I enjoyed their relationship as well. The angst is pretty low. Its more one of the characters has some hang ups stemming from their past, and that gets in their way a bit.All in all a good read.

RATING: 4.35/5 "What we fear losing most, we almost always wind up losing because of that fear." I was initially uncertain on Roommates with Benefits' worth as a BOTM read because I wasn't that impressed after reading the book's synopsis so I began the book not feeling hyped up at all. And noooow, I think the book's surprisingly good!Set in New York, a small town Nebraskan girl with big dreams moves in a musky and cramped apartment totally in need of serious repairs. She apparently assumed her

Soren was a sweetheart. He was the big win for me with the story. Hayden didn't quite understand him at first but as readers we knew where he was headed. He was a total catch right away even with a little jealousy sprinkled in. Hayden, for me, felt more on the immature side. She tended to bring some unnecessary drama that didn't add value to the story nor did it endear her to me. Eventually she started catching up but didn't completely win me over. The plot was ok. Just two people who would

Hayden was so annoying I could barely stand it. The only thing getting me through this was Soren, but even toward the end I started to hate him because he was putting up with all of Hayden's stupidity! God she was so annoying! I'm just happy it's over.
