Narration To Books Fighting Out of Mobberley, England (Zombie #1)
I won this book from goodreads, first reads. This book sounded so interesting and different from anything I have read. As I read the book I loved the story, I didn't want to put it down. Every character was interesting as well as the setting and how they all got to be in the situation they were in. When they get to the mall the story picks up even more, how they deal with each other and set up to live there, and of course the zombies. I don't want to spoil any part of the story, My problem was the end. I almost thought I missed something. I wanted to know the reason behind the whole deal of being invited to the mall in the first place. I didn't feel it was all for his plan to set up a commune in the US that was brought up in a couple of places in the book, I thought more would be explained. Also what of the money, and what happened when they got out...Is there a book 2 with a lot of answers coming up?Can't wait for the sequel "Fighting Out Of New Milford, USA". Thanks for letting me know.

I received this book as the result of a First reads giveaway.Fist off, my sincerest apologies for not getting through this book earlier. My kids are going through a zombie phase and because of this, we opted to make this a book we read aloud and share, something we try to do several times a year. This is a rare honor for the books we choose and one that is not given lightly. We had a hard time finding times that all of us were home to read it together, hence, why it took so long. With that said,Let me just get this out of the way. I know nothing of England. I do not know the cities. I do not know the laws. I do not know the "spoken" language in England compared to America. I would recommend getting an eBook version so you can easily look up definitions of words. I do not know the "written" language in England because, to me, there was a lot of "S"s where there should have been "Z"s. A map of the layout of the mall stores would have been nice. The only store I have ever heard of
I received this book through Goodreads First Reads. I liked the way this book was written. I felt I could connect with the characters and their personalities and the way they dealt with the situation they found themselves in was totally believable. I wanted more of an explanation at the end. It might be one of those books that I need to dwell on for a few days to understand more fully. Overall it was entertaining and had me in suspense much of the time.
This is a fantastic book. It is great whether you are a zombie freak like me or into psychological thrillers, action, apocalyptic or just love a great story. You have the characters, some you love, some you hate and some you want dead, lol. There is action, intrigue, and also a little bit of huh???? Just loved this. I can't wait for the sequel.
How can I be the first to give this a bad rating? Guess someone always has to be the first and ruin things for everyone...Anyway, let's try and keep this short: the characters in this book were horrible, underdeveloped and not lifelike at all with artificial sounding dialogues and vague motivations. Considering that 85% of the book have no real plot and seem to be reserved for character development and observations of group dynamics "Fighting out of Mobberley, England" gives an awful result. The
I was lucky enough to win a copy of Fighting Out Of Mobberley, England in a Goodreads First Reads Giveaway. This novel is the first I have read by G.B. Hope, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was well written, with a lot of thought to characterisation and how the different characters would not only evoke emotions in each other, but in the reader. They were excellently portrayed, and their reactions were very true to their situations. The way the group evolved and fractured was of great interest to
