I like how they put French words in it but you can still understand. Detailed, strong characters. Just a little raunchy and sorry for my tastes but it was a nice out of the box book for me.

Wow!! I picked this book on a whim - it was a free download after all.I'm not sure where to begin there were so many things I liked about this book. It is very well written and so engaging! The story was compelling and so were the characters. I do not want to give anything away but I do feel that I should mention that this is a two-part book and it was a little confusing for about the first 2-3 chapters of part two then there is an Ah, Ha! moment when you realize what happened and it all begins
There are only 2 classical literature style novels that stand out in my head as exemplary; Queen of Hearts by Anita Shreve, and this one Vivienne: Lost and Found by S.M. Bowles. If anyone knows of my reading habits, they know I shirk reading classical literature. But the truth is, I recognize the merit of classical literature, but most times I've found them stuffy, slow-paced, uninteresting in plot lines, and often deemed as offering more societal/ spiritual insight than I gave credence. I really haven't been this conflicted about a book in a long while, despite my overall positive feelings about this book. Let me elaborate. This book is the equivalent of a decadent, whipped cream, cherry on top, hot fudge sundae. You LOVE it when you're scarfing it down (and I certainly devoured this book) but then you realize that you didn't opt for the fro-yo, there was no banana, it
