The stories found here are "Death on the Nile", "Murder on the Orient Express", "The ABC Murders", "Cards on the Table", and "Thirteen at Dinner". The only title that doesn't deserve a 5-star rating is "Cards"--that gets only a 2 or a 3. "Thirteen at Dinner" (the US title) is more commonly known as "Lord Edgware Dies". The book was totally fabulous.Classic Agatha Christie stuff. Each novel in this collection can be completed in a day. My favorite among the 5 was 'ABC Murders' closely followed by 'Cards on the Table'. Agatha Christie is a master at building intricate plot-lines and drawing a satisfactory conclusion at the end of the tale.

A collection of five different murder mysteries featuring Hercule Periot. Vintage Agatha Christie. Includes Death on the Nile and Murder on the Orient Express.
Easy, fun read. Agatha lets us discover clues when she feels like it but keeps us guessing. She wants to make sure that Hercule remains the hero. Entertaining and fun way of describing the participating characters and the setting.
Agatha Christie's books always keep me interested from beginning to end.My favorite was Orient Express, but Death on the Nile may have been my favorite if I had read it before Orient Express as they both contain the same plot. I thought the Orient Express to be extremely interesting, but also a little far fetched where the conclusions were concerned. Thirteen at Dinner was enjoyable. Cards on the Table and the ABC Murders were my least favorite of the novels; however, I still enjoyed reading
