I had an inkling this was going to be something special when I picked it up, but I had no idea just how hard this story would tug on my heart or how emotionally invested I would become.What lends this story a unique feel, in my opinion, is the way Jill Santopolo tells it. I can't do this anymore. I have given up at page 145.What do we have but yet another young New Yorker examining the lint in her navel and imagining that it is fascinating for us all. My heart is broken. I am blown away and broken. I don't know how to review this, so I'm going to ramble for a bit. Firstly, I want to thank Putnam Books for sending me a review copy.
