Evaluation Appertaining To Books Weaving Destiny (The Soulkeepers #2)
The Watchers are now more determined than ever to succeed in their fight for dominance. And as more and more people go missing or turn up dead, the Soulkeepers appear to be losing the fight. With Malini still unsure about what she really is and just what she can do to help, Dr. Silva manages to track down another Soulkeeper willing to join them. But Mara Kane isnt just any Soulkeeper. Shes gorgeous. And she seems to have set her sights on Jacob. With the growing tension between Malini and Jacob

It's always a risky move to change up your protagonists part way through a series... at least for this reader. In this book, Jacob steps aside so that Malini can take the main role and for me, it just didn't work. The problem is that I just spent a book growing attached to Jacob's story, sympathising with him, and rooting for him as a protagonist. As much as I liked Malini in the first novel, she wasn't a character that I loved so much that I wanted to hear more of her story over Jacob's. It

This is book 2 of the series and since book 1 really caught my attention, I thought this one would too. And it did - to an extent. The story focuses more on Malini in this book, whereas book one was about Jacob and his family's past. It's about her figuring out her role (at the same time the reader is figuring it out) and what her "destiny" is all about. Destiny and being chosen for something as a teenager is not a new theme, all who know young adult fiction are very familiar with it, however

Wow! Gen Ching brought something wonderful and refreshing to the table with Weaving Destiny! After reading The Soulkeepers, I wasn't sure how the sequel would play out. To my surprise I loved it! The novel went smooth and was a well worded, fast paced read.As the characters from the previous book are still around, we are introduced to a couple more people in this book and we also get to meet a few more that we didn't get around to spending time with in the first book. You will love to hate some

Better than the first, which received one star, this one receives a whole two!Has weird scenes, wasn't very interesting, but has an ok overall plot.

For you to become what you were born to be, you must face and overcome your greatest fears. You must release what you desire most, and you must choose your course based on your wish to serve, knowing you may do so alone. (pg105)What an exciting sequel to The Soulkeepers by G. P. Ching! While I loved book one, I devoured book two and could not put it down. It has lots of action, sizzling chemistry, and twists I totally didnt expect. In book one, The Soulkeepers, we were introduced to the world of

Awesome Malani finally found out she is a healer and a medicine woman she is now the strongest of the Soulkeepers Im not going to give the story away because it is definitely worth reading the series
