Forever (Friends #3)
I have a reputation around school. Cold. Untouchable. Unfeeling. Only one girl could ever make me want to change and that's Amanda Winters. Too bad I broke her heart and drove her away.
So to get through the rest of my days in high school, I tell myself I need to focus on more important things. Like taking our football team to championships. Get accepted to the college of my choice. And finish my senior year without wanting to run away from my problems.
But your problems chase after you no matter where you go. And it's a lot harder when you fight them alone. The longer I go without Amanda, the more I miss her. Her smile. Her laughter. The things she said. How she looked at me like I was the only person who mattered. The way she made me feel....
Why can't I have everything, including the girl? I'm determined to make things right. And make Amanda mine....
Forever.
Sigh!!! I expected a little more from Amanda and Tuttle..this was an entire book of nothing happening. Yes Jordan realizes what a mistake he's made breaking Amanda's heart and he promises to change but he really doesn't do anything different. Amanda is still incredibly insecure...Livvy is still annoying as hell..Ryan is still immature..Em is still shady as Fck. Nothing really changes or gets resolved..idk I just expected more from Forever which sucks because I really loved More Than Friends.
3.5 stars!Review at Of Pens and Pages. This group of teenagers infuriated me to no end, Livvy and Ryan the most, but I couldnt stop reading about them. Is this the last book for Amanda Walters and Jordan Tuttle? I think they were the most decent of the bunch, and I was sweet on them and their relationship.Forever follows More Than Friends after Amanda and Tuttle broke up. As Amanda tries to move on, Tuttle realizes hell do something to make him happy, and thats having her beside him. He has to
Original review on Julalicious Book ParadiseIt took me a bit longer to get into the story of the third book in this series, but once I was, I was in completely. The book continues around where the last book finished and we continue to follow Amanda and Tuttles relationships ups and downs.Even though Tuttle hurt Amanda, I cant hate him, like I do with Ryan (yes, went back to not liking the guy lol), because I feel like it hurts him even more knowing he hurt her. I like that he is willing to push
When it comes to YA heroes, Jordan Tuttle is All The Things. He's tall. He's broodingHe's intelligent. He's inscrutable. And when he likes you, he makes you feel like complete.Unfortunately, all of that brooding and inscrutability can cause problems. Amanda certainly thinks so. She loves Jordan, and she wants him to love her back, but he keeps pushing her away. She understands that much of this has to do with his overwhelmingly dysfunctional family, but no amount of understanding helps when the guy
3 STARS Shes all I could ever want [image error]It saddens to me to rate this book centered around Amanda and Tuttle and the final book of the series low. However this could have been so much better and sadly wasnt in my opinion. A reader will get all excited that Jordan Tuttle seems set on winning Amanda Winters back and making her his forever. However, they were on again off again the WHOLE BOOK. After a while I just didnt care why Jordan would sulk off to god only knows where, week after
ARC provided by author in exchange for an honest review I watch because its fascinating and Im in awe of everything that is Jordan Tuttle. His body is beautiful. I want to kiss him all over.Monica Murphy knows when it comes to Jordan Tuttle and Amanda Winters that she has my full attention. Seriously, I fell in love with these two instantly in the second installment, More Than Friends. There was something so right, raw and relatable when it came to these two. Though they are young and a
