Narrative During Books Riptide

One violent night shatters Lauren Biltmore’s life. As an anchorwoman, she's accustomed to reporting the news rather than being the lead story. She escapes the spotlight by fleeing to her brother's home in the Cayman Islands. Haunted by nightmares, all she wants is a distraction from reality.

Distraction arrives via sexy screenwriter, Noah Reynolds. His take-me-to-bed looks mask a past ripe with scandal. He knows he should stay away from Lauren, especially when the worst night of her life unlocks his writer's block and while he's dealing with a stalker of his own, but ethics are his weakness.

Attraction sizzles beneath Caribbean sunshine. As their relationship grows, Noah's stalker intensifies her torment. Lauren wonders if her paranoia is justified or a carryover from her past. What's real? What's imagined? Tentative trust is tested as their love is swept up against a riptide of deceit, murder, and revenge.

Phenomenal novel, one of the best I have ever read. I thought Kiss Me Slowly was good---and it is---but this one topped it. I felt like I was watching a movie, was completely captivated by the characters, the setting and the storyline. As soon as I finished it, I wanted to read it again for the sheer enjoyment of it. I think I miss the characters! It's rare that a book can draw the readers in so well. I can't recommend this highly enough. If you enjoy romance, suspense and excellent writing,

How can you not love a romance that takes place in the Caribbean Grand Cayman to be exact. Having been to Grand Cayman, even though it was so long ago, reading this novel brought back memories of the sandy beaches, blue water, and the smell of salt in the air; all of which makes me want to be there this very moment as its absolutely beautiful. Anyways, back to the novel. Riptide is a well-written, fast-paced story with elements of romance, suspense, and mystery with a few twists and turns

It's my book--of course I'm rating it with 5 stars. LOL Hey, it gave me the option! :-) Actually, this book was one of my favorites to write--aren't they all?, you ask. The characters truly found a permanent place in my heart. There were times when writing this novel that I cried because of the riptide of emotions that pulled me out of reality and into the depths of the story. To me, that's the best feeling in the world. It's been getting great feedback from the public and that's a reward beyond

I love the way this author writes. Every scene felt as if I were transported to Grand Cayman--I could feel the sun, sense the breeze, and definitely felt the passion between Lauren and Noah. Yes, this is a steamy romance, but it is so much more than that. The struggle Lauren goes through after surviving a tremendous trauma while attempting to piece her life together felt incredibly vivid to me. She is a relatable character. I truly rooted for her to see how strong she was and to not sabotage the

WOW this book was AWESOME, could not put it down, it had everything, romance, suspense, loved the wonderful trust Noah & Lauren had for each other even after all they had been through. Loved the great ending. This is a MUST read, I thought the first book good, this one blew it out of the water, can you imagine her next book, SIGH !

**Originally posted @ ReadingDiva's Blog - Rating 4.5 of 5Review: Riptide is a well written modern story that has everything a good Contemporary Romance & Suspense is supposed to have. It has a great plot, one that will make you speculate and will definitely challenge the reader to draw conclusions. The characters felt as if you were witnessing a conversation between close friends. I enjoyed how well the story flowed and how well the characters were developed.Their differences and the

Pretty god damn intense. But I had a huge problem with how the author had her characters treating their loved ones.
