Narration Concering Books The Pact (book 1)

“The Pact” is the second book by former Green Beret-turned author Robert Patrick Lewis, and his first foray into the world of fiction.

“The Pact” is the first of a 3-book series, a fictional story based on current events, the authors experience in Special Forces and first-hand knowledge of geopolitics and global intelligence.

“The Pact” combines global politics, combat, economics, conspiracy theories and Special Forces history into one nail-biting fiction work; think Dan Brown meets Tom Clancy meets Red Dawn.

Already hailed as “so realistic and plausible that it’s terrifying,” “an on the edge of your seat thriller that will have you looking in your rearview mirror for enemy troops” and “the next great franchise in the world of military fiction,” “The Pact” is going to change the way Americans look at their government and safety for the rest of their lives.

Judgment Containing Books The Pact (book 1)
too much "he-man" stuff for me and not a lot of anything else. If you like action for action sake...enjoy.

I'm quite partial, but have to say that I had much more fun than expected writing this, the first part of the 3-part series that will be "The Pact."I was surprised at the fervor and excitement this caused in my beta readers; everyone who got "Love Me When I'm Gone" in advance took weeks to read, but "The Pact" was finished by all advance readers within 48-72 hours and they were immediately asking for more. There are a lot of elements tied together here, with politics, conspiracies, combat,

Read this review for a necessary warning. The author uses a sparse writing style. No Tom Clancy pages of description. No chapters spent explaining the situation. This style has the advantage of fast pace action. Short descriptions like "Country X did this because of Y." allow us to get back to the action right away with a bare bones framework for the overall situation. My problem with the book occurred at the beginning when a sentence or two was spent accusing liberal politicians for disarming

Really enjoyed this book. It was fast-paced and kept me on the edge of my seat through the entire story. Rob's first hand knowledge of Special Forces and how they operate really is my favorite part. I love seeing those kind of details and feeling like I am part of the action and understanding their motivation and brotherhood. I'm glad that book 2 is now available so I can jump right in on the action going forward!

It was the 'I hope this is how the world ends so I can show all those liberals' of a conservative crazy-person.

Very engaging story! I was disappointed not to have the second and third parts of this series on hand for an immediate read. The story is current, based in fact, and faces certain political realities. I was given an advance proof to read, winning a copy on Goodreads. I rate it 5 stars for the plot, but overall, a 3 star book.
