The Titanic Locket (The Haunted Museum #1)
It looks like the high point of Samantha's spring vacation is going to be a glimpse of a cute boy she sees at The Haunted Museum in England. She and her sister, Jessica, and their parents are taking a cruise on the Titanic 2, a replica of the original Titanic, and there's not even wifi! At least the Titanic exhibit at the Haunted Museum had wax figures and beautiful jewels to look at.
But from their first day, Samantha and Jessica notice strange things happening. Their cabin number keeps changing. There are creepy scratching sounds coming from between the walls. And a locket that Jess opened at the museum seems to be . . . following them.
Is the locket haunted? Or could it be the ship itself? Are there actors in costume walking about the ship . . .or could they be ghosts? Why is Sam's sister calling her by another name? Samantha will have to unravel the threads tying her and her sister to the past, or they could go down with the ship!
One word: CREEPY. Just some advice: never read this book at night. BWA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH...
I recently read this during a quiet shift at work, and while it was quite a short book, it certainly gave me the creeps! I was by myself and was jumping at every noise! This is a book based around two sisters going on the Titanic 2, with their parents. As the intended audience is 8+, the story focuses more on the sisters, with adults only making a brief appearance. The sisters discover an innocent looking locket in a haunted museum which also has a Titanic exhibition. Despite the do not touch
The Haunted Museum is about two girls named Samantha and Jessica that go on a cruise called Titanic 2. This ship is a remake of the original Titanic. On the ship, they discover haunting secrets about the past. I liked the book because the plot added a supernatural mystery that made the book more exciting.
A quick read with an ending that I did not guess!
Read for #MarchMysteryMadnessI really enjoyed this one! It was pretty creepy for a middle grade book, I think. Since I was reading as an adult, the scarier portions didn't scare me so much as keep me really interested in what was going on. I had a hunch about a few things, which turned out to be correct, but this was still a very enjoyable read. I will definitely be looking to read the rest of the volumes in this series.
this book has something special in it. Even though not too long book but still the thrill you get and the mystery this book creates and forces your mind to not stop from reading and thinking what would happen next got me Addicted to it. You never know what to expect in the next page.LOVED IT , BEST BOOK I'VE EVER READ I DO ADVICE YOU TO READ IT!!

This book was as bad as it's sequel. It wasn't scary, and in my opinion, it failed to build up any form of supspence. Riddled with awful horror cliches, like the boyfriend was evil all along, it made me shudder with discontent. One word: CREEPY. Just some advice: never read this book at night.
