Narrative To Books Fruits Basket, Vol. 18 (Fruits Basket #18)

Every time I say that the former volume was a slower one I get hit with the feels in the next volume. So yeah since I said the last one was slow, I should have expected that this one would hurt again! *lol* This was already number 18 and there aren’t many volumes left. So ARGH!! It’s getting suspenseful. XD

Thoughts to the highlights of this volume:

- Machi and Yuki! <333 I love those two!!! And I ship them so damn hard! I can’t even say how much I loved it that he broke that chalk! Because damn that little gesture mean the world to Machi and me! XD

- HIRO!!! Gosh, he and Kisa grew so much! <3 I love that he’s such a great big brother and I’m so sorry what he had to go through. =(( Poor boy! He’s on the best way to be an amazing person though, so Akito didn’t break him and only made him stronger.

- Hatsuharu having a go at Akito!! I knew if anyone ever dared to take him on it would be Hatsu and damn I was right! XD I love my boy so much! He’s so fierce and protective of the ones he loves and he didn’t eve hesitate to confront Akito. If every one of the Sohma’s would be like him, Akito’s influence would have been gone a long time ago. =)

- Hatsu and Rin! <333 I love them together! They should never part and always be a couple! And if Akito isn’t okay with that he can go and be all alone! Hatsu finally carrying Rin HOME was one of the most beautiful things ever! <3

- I’m worried about Kureno now, because we all know how vicious and cruel Akito can be and he basically broke his heart. =(

- Shigure!! I really want to find out what is going on with Shigure! His role is so much more than I first thought it would be and with every volume I read, his character gets another complicated layer! Who is he even?! And even more important: DID HE REALLY MEAN WHAT HE SAID TO RIN AT THE END OF THIS VOLUME??? OMG! O_o

I need to read the next one soon! XD

Judgment Containing Books Fruits Basket, Vol. 18 (Fruits Basket #18)
Ah, Rin and Haru continue to be my top favourite couple in this manga. I'm so happy Haru finally lost his shit and decided to do something about the constant abuse Rin was being put through. Also, I'm so glad Tohru finally admitted to herself that she really does live Kyou! It took a long time but I'm happy we finally made some progress. Now if only these idiots would confess to each other! Another happy highlight was looking at my babies growing up! Momiji and Hiro look so grown up I cry

Haru and Rin are adorable.Akito is the worst.Kyo needs to not be locked up.

All the women are BITCHES in this story.

I love Haru and Rin! sooo cute ;)

This is a nostalgia series for me. There are definitely flaws and some things that don't hold up now as the series grows older, but it remains one of my favorite manga of all time (hence why it'll get five stars regardless). The characters are engaging, beautiful, multilayered, and wonderful. Seeing their journeys grow and change really hits me. There are some pages in the later volumes that really, really hit me hard even now and flash me back to that time when I first read them. This is

This was so emotional and I teared up a few times! Continuing on immediately. I love Haru so much! ❤*Read for Booktubeathon 2018*
