Beasts and Savages
I was pleasantly surprised with this book. I'm not normally a fan of dystopian, post-apocalyptic, or science-fiction novels, and it's been a long time since this old gray head dove into a young adult novel, but dive in I did. Once I got started, I couldn't wait to get back to it when life interrupted my reading. Woods has created a cast of believable characters in a curious world that's kind of hard to believe. Women have subjugated and segregated the men into a primitive existence and use them
The book was a great read! Couldn't put it down! Can't wait for the 2nd book!
Now it turns out I wrote a full review about this book that somehow didn't get uploaded and now it's lost forever. I'm so angry, I won't write it again. My pride is kind of hurt.About the book... It was amazing, and this better not be a stand alone book (I don't see any series's name next to the book title) or there'll be some serious bloodshed.
I LOVED THIS BOOK. It has memorable characters, an intriguing setting, and a story that will keep you turning the page. It also has an AMAZING romance, which is always a plus! Read if you want a quick, amazing story that won't leave your mind for days afterwards.
This was a great YA novel and I was intrigued from the beginning to the ending on which it ends on a cliffhanger that sets up the next book and I can't wait to read this again, the sequel soon and to pass this to friends!Beasts and Savages by Emma Woods is a YA/Fantasy novel and the first of the Beastly series. It is a tale of women against men.
