An easy read. Although I felt it's dragging at times, enjoyed the book. Would give 3.5actual rating 3.5 This book was a bit of a mixed bag for me. I loved the main female character and all of the side characters and I loved reading from an own voices perspective but I really disliked the romantic lead and I found the relatiomship and what it was based upon to be intensely unsettling and unbelievable. So while I devoured this book I acknowledge it's flaws. Though I will be reading more from this author because I quite enjoyed her writing style and 99% of the characters!
I was most intrigued by the title. When Shikha Kumar asked if I would like to read it for the purpose of giving an honest review, I jumped at the chance.I received an ebook copy on New Year's day - a very thoughtful gesture on behalf of the author. I agree that this happens quite often in the society and how does this story stand different from the others in the genre? It does, because you will never come across such a simple but strong plot and a convincing theme, as this one.
