Why is this series not more popular and well known?! This was a great ending to a surprisingly wonderful YA Japanese mythology/fantasy-esque trilogy! This series follows Emi, a human girl who has worked almost her entire life to become the vassal for one of the Japanese gods, Amaterasu. Only it turns out that the details of what that actually entails were never fully explained to her, before it was too late for her to change it.
