THIS IS THE MOST HORRIBLE GRAPHIC TRUE STORY I HAVE READ AND TO THINK IT HAPPENED SO CLOSE TO US IN AUS! I CANT BELIEVE THE THINGS SHE GOT AWAY WITH THE POLICE SHOULD HAVE HELPED JOHN PRICE EARLIER IN THE PIECE WHEN HE WAS BEGGING FOR THERE HELP BUT AS USUAL NOTHING GETS DONE UNTIL SOMETHING HORRIBLE HAS BEEN DONE!Given the subject matter, I found the author's writing style to be a little too familiar, too informal at times. It was as if he were telling the tale in the pub and not giving it the gravity it deserved. That being said, a story such as this, I guess you need to step back and lighten things up lest it drag you into despair. It was definitely a hard book to read, because of the subject and the graphic nature of both the crime and the perpetrator's life up to that point, and an equally hard book

Not very well written, but very interesting backstory on a HORRIFIC crime.
This book was frightening for many reasons and to think it all took place in a little country town in Australia. Its a reminder that we are not immune here and crimes of a horrendous nature do occur. What should a killer look like? Well after reading this you are reminded that they come in all forms.
A horrifying true modern account of what one Australian woman did to her partner. After stabbing him at least 32 times, she not only skinned him, but decapitated him and cooked his head and other parts of his body. Her expertise with a knife, gained as an abattoir worker, her rip-roaring temper and her scheme to take care of her partner and the belief she would get away with the horrific murder by being declared insane.
