The Rise of the Hotel Dumort (The Bane Chronicles #5)
This story was ... interesting. I enjoyed being back in Cassie's world and her writing. It is always a pleasure to reunite with some of the old characters. That was kind of missing in this story, though. The only one we knew was Magnus, which was a little unfortunate. Overall the story was pretty boring, and probably just a "in-between" story to set up for something else. I like it when historical details are represented in books, especially from Magnus's point of view, so I really enjoyed that.
3.5 stars :D Theres nothing wrong with wanting to enjoy life a little. We have forever. Should we really spend all of it working?- Magnus Bane
Ha sido muy meh.... How can you not care?Practice,
I'm lost... What was this even about? Like seriously, I have no idea!
Okay by most standards but I'm not impressed

{March 11th, 2015} MINI REVIEW3 stars.SPOILERS i guessPg 247.Wow, never figured this would be how Hotel Dumort arose. #sarcasmTravelling back in time to the Great Depression era and the stock market crash. It's really something different than I imagined for the Hotel Dumort to arise and become infested with vampires. Regardless it is how it is. The addition of how Magnus becomes involved is interesting to note. This story was ... interesting. I enjoyed being back in Cassie's world and her writing.
