Appraise Regarding Books Alicia (Clique Summer Collection #3)
Alicia and Nina team up against her other cousins. Nothing great.

In this side Clique novel, the author Miss Lisi Harrison tackles the concepts of identity, of fame, of unfairness and of hard work ethic so well readers actually feel pity for the main character Alicia. However, seeing as the ending is much too perfect, readers might feel disappointed in the novel. Overall, so far this is the best fiction out of the first three Summer books but it still lacks the Clique signature.

"The Summer Collection: Alicia" is better than "Dylan" but worse (nawt by much) than "Massie". I loved the vivid descriptions of the resort parties, the unexpected tie to the "Massie" book (purple hair streaks, anyone?), and the surprise ending. I could not believe how gullible Alicia was to Nina's schemes, and Alicia's job was a little boring. I think the Summer Collection books as a whole so far are not as entertaining as the other clique novels; I had high hopes for this set. However,

I never thought that one day I would give a Lisi Harrison book one star. Because, well, Lisi Harrison is one of my favorite authors. She writes amazing books and I love then, but I feel like The Summer Collection is just not all that good. Usually her books have messages in them, but The Summer Collection is to shallow, especially this one. I don't know if it's its shallowness, or the fact that this reads like Lisi had a one month dead line and ended up writing the whole book the night before,

Alicia is the third book of the Summer Collection, a group of side stories revolving around the members of the "Pretty Committee" from Lisi Harrison's "The Clique" series of popular and controversial books. Each of the Summer Collection titles follows one of the characters through her summer vacation in between the seventh and eighth grades (or, chronologically, in between Sealed With a Diss and Bratfest At Tiffany's in The Clique series).Plot: Alicia Rivera is forced to spend her summer

So I read the first two Clique novels and I enjoyed them and thus I bought the subsequent books. While shopping I saw four of the five summer collections going for $0.97 each. Now while I spend a lot of money on books, I loves me a good bargain! So of course I bought them.I picked up Alicia's book this evening. Keep in mind that I haven't read the series since late 2011. It took me a minute to get back into the flow.I immediately knew I had missed some things, but that didn't bother me too much.

i loved the clique series so as soon at it came out i had to read it. massie is always calling alica fanish(fake spanish)alica is so tired of being treated like she's below her and landing a spot in a major spanish music. in this book of the clique series you learn a lot more about nina, alica's cousin who was introduced in invasion of the boy snatchers. another adrenalin filled book of the clique.
